Superman

Superman was the first in the Mego Corporation’s World’s Greatest Super-Heroes 8 inch action figure line appearing in 1973. The company remained faithful to DC comics’ super-hero par excellence and the Mego Superman action figure saw numerous reinventions over the years including a Bend N Flex version and a 12 inch action figure.

The Superman figures on a blister card produced by the UK branch of Mego – Palitoy – are particularly prized by vintage Superman collectors.
